- Contact Premier Wynne and your MPP and ask for their comments about water and food land protection. What has your MPP accomplished to date? What does your MPP plan for the future?
- Ontario’s provincial election is scheduled for June 7, 2018. Contact the candidates and ask how they plan to protect the quality of water and food land should they be elected. Use these talking points. Monitor our Election Watch 2018 worksheet.
- Talk up the answers — send a letter to the editor of your local paper, talk to your friends, update your social media (#FoodAndWaterFirst), sign and pass on a petition. Be creative. Do what you do best to raise awareness.
- Keep the pressure on your local representatives. Protect your backyard.
